Freedom Equity Group has contracted with a mortgage banker for recruiting and employment services. Freedom Equity Group refers people interested in mortgage origination to the mortgage banker.

What does a loan originator do?

The responsibilities to your Mortgage Banker as a Loan Originator are extensive. A complete list will be provided at the time of approval but the key points are:

Educate your client about the loan, the process of getting the loan, and fees.

Take the loan application.

Enter the application online to your Processing Center.

Receive back your clients’ official loan paperwork, called “disclosures,” from your Processing Center.

Sign the disclosures with your client and return them to your Processing Center along with any requested documentation such as income and asset verification.

Maintain contact with your Processing Center to keep your client updated on the status of his or her loan.

Compensation for loan origination is paid directly to the loan originator by the mortgage banker.
